Security Features
The Garage Defender's solid steel bar locks horizontally across your garage door opening, creating an impenetrable barrier that prevents the door from being forced open or lifted. The Sold Secure certification means this lock has been independently tested and proven to resist sustained attack from common burglary tools including crowbars, drills, and cutting equipment. The high-security lock cylinder features anti-pick pins and drill-resistant components, while the concrete fixing ensures the unit cannot be removed or bypassed by determined thieves.
Visual Deterrent
The bright red powder-coated finish makes the Garage Defender highly visible from the street, immediately signaling to potential thieves that your garage is protected by professional-grade security. This visual deterrent alone is often enough to discourage opportunistic criminals from targeting your property, as they know the Sold Secure approved lock will resist their attempts and increase their risk of being caught.
Easy Installation
The Garage Defender is supplied with concrete fixing bolts and comprehensive installation instructions. Simply position the mounting brackets on either side of your garage door opening, mark the fixing points, drill into the concrete floor or wall, and secure with the heavy-duty bolts provided. Once installed, the red bar swings into position across the door opening and locks securely in place. Installation typically takes 30-60 minutes with basic DIY tools.
