Fits most MerCruiser Inboards and Mercury Mariner Outboards and other marine engines with a spin on fuel filter.
This 25 micron filter (35-802893) separates water from fuel as it removes other impurities. Fuel contamination with water can result in poor engine performance, stalling and damage to fuel system components.
Filter features a metal shell that is over 50% thicker than conventional filters with a durable paint finish to resist corrosion even in saltwater environments.
Epoxy coated internal surfaces resist rust caused by exposure to water captured within filter.
Fits all Mercury, Mariner, and Force outboards equipped with externally mounted water separating fuel filter bases.
Fits all Mercury MerCruiser applications except 1992 4.3 Generation II engines with an in -line fuel filter.
